What a fantastic summer we all had.........In Vanderhoof it was Hot for once, all summer! Although along with the heat came forrest fires some of which came very close to Vanderhoof. Our hollidays started off with the Mueller family reunion at Tatuk lake. Lots of fishing hiking and games. All the cousins played and played, and never seemed to get tired. It was so great to see every one again, and every one had a fantastic time. After that we settled in nicely to routine of house boat renavating, all the kids took thier turns, and Wyatt discovered that maybe he had a future in welding. The house boat is nearly completed and we are all looking forward to launching it next summer for some new adventures. We traveled down to Ellensburgh Washington for the Jarman reunion and had a blast, It was great catching up with all the Jarmans. It was Lois's 80 birthday and she had all of her reletives their to celebrate it with her. The trip back was exciting for the kids as we took a trip through the Kootenays, we did a lot of camping in our new tent trailor, we visited hot springs, and water slides. When we got back Jonboy Wyatt and Vaughn, went fishing with uncle Lance and Grandpa Garth and caught some beautiful rainbow trout, and once again witnessed a very lively forrest fire. Later that week Vaughn went to drive mobile ambulance at the Medrum Creek fire just West of Williams lake. It was a good experience, but he missed his family very much and was very happy to be back home when the fire was over. Like always the summer hollidays came and were gone in a flash, and now it is time for school to start once again.......We cant believe Tanton is Kindergarton allready!

Brivee has had a busy and exciting year, her last year before the teenage attitude sets in. She has grown a ton (5'1") and has begun dominating the phone. She continues to be the tom-boy who doesn't mind getting her hands dirty. She acheived the honor roll and also recieved the fine arts award for the school. She loves the outdoors and especially fishing. Vaughn showed her how to gut a fish and she gutted everyones for them at the family reunion. She has great taste in music and we usually like most of the stuff she picks out and vice versa. She enjoyed being part of the Vancouver Temple Celebration this spring and went on her first trip without mom or dad. she is very athletic and had a great BB season until she broke her foot. She hasn't spent much time on her horse (much to her mothers dismay) but maybe this summer?! She has recently purchased a lap top and spends hours writting and saving stories and wants to be a writer someday.
Jonathan will do anything to grow and eats constantly. He has always had large tonsils and finally had them taken out in May. Had to wait til after BB season! He did play in a spring league and his team came second in an Edmonton tournament, with Jon Boy recieving an MVP. He also competed in a track tournament in Kamloops and finished first in all of his races. He is on the Principals honor roll and recieved the All around student award at school. He is a hard worker and likes to do extra jobs to earn money. He loves to drive the Quad and is cautious and very responsible. He plans to make it to the MBA and has promised to share his salary with his family-who needs a savings account!!?
Wyatt is everyones friend and will give you his shoes if you need them. His teacher loved him and was always comenting on how kind and considerate of others he is. He had a great soccer season and mastered the sliding kick. He has always shown an interest in guns and UncleTim bought him a BBgun this spring. After losing his gun privilege several times he is much more attentive to the safety rules we have given him. He is a dreamer and gets a lot out of life, like protecting us from snipers on a recent hike. He loves to eat pickles and meat and can make a weapon out of anything. He swims like a fish and has never had a lesson in his life. He has been stung at least six times already this summer but still continues to enjoy destroying their nests. but at least no broken bones this summer so far. He is the king of the Tarzan rope and can not get enough of camping. He is an excellent Cub Scout and enjoyed building and racing a Cub Car this spring. He is never clean but is the first to come give his mom a kiss and therefore irresistable.
Payton has discovered the sewing machine and Gramma Sue has taught her to sew a perfect straight line. They enjoy making Barbie clothes together. She is an animal magnet and they all love her , especially her dog Charlie. He recently attacked Vaughn while he was playing rough with her and we have decided he will attend her on all of her dates when she is much older. She is a very loyal friend and loves to have a cuddle. She likes to look beautiful and have her hair done. She loves her family and loves to go to church. She wants to be a mom when she grows up.
Tanton is the one liner king. He is always cracking us up with the things that come out of his mouth. "You can't sell me-it takes five years to get a boy like this","did you make me from scratch?", "This is the best time in my life","I'm gonna be an international super spy." He adores his big brother Wyatt and they are always missing somewhere together saving the world. His feet are black and we can never find any of his twenty pairs of shoes. He is very athletic and has been riding a two wheeler forever and enjoys this freedom. Usually it's not a bike but a rocket blaster or a mudding truck. He is a professional frog catcher and is terrified of bugs. He loves to come to bed for a cuddle and he loves to help cook breakfast.
