What a fantastic summer we all had.........In Vanderhoof it was Hot for once, all summer! Although along with the heat came forrest fires some of which came very close to Vanderhoof. Our hollidays started off with the Mueller family reunion at Tatuk lake. Lots of fishing hiking and games. All the cousins played and played, and never seemed to get tired. It was so great to see every one again, and every one had a fantastic time. After that we settled in nicely to routine of house boat renavating, all the kids took thier turns, and Wyatt discovered that maybe he had a future in welding. The house boat is nearly completed and we are all looking forward to launching it next summer for some new adventures. We traveled down to Ellensburgh Washington for the Jarman reunion and had a blast, It was great catching up with all the Jarmans. It was Lois's 80 birthday and she had all of her reletives their to celebrate it with her. The trip back was exciting for the kids as we took a trip through the Kootenays, we did a lot of camping in our new tent trailor, we visited hot springs, and water slides. When we got back Jonboy Wyatt and Vaughn, went fishing with uncle Lance and Grandpa Garth and caught some beautiful rainbow trout, and once again witnessed a very lively forrest fire. Later that week Vaughn went to drive mobile ambulance at the Medrum Creek fire just West of Williams lake. It was a good experience, but he missed his family very much and was very happy to be back home when the fire was over. Like always the summer hollidays came and were gone in a flash, and now it is time for school to start once again.......We cant believe Tanton is Kindergarton allready!
